If I had to do it over again, it is just as easy to install the second pitot tube. Aside from the engine itself, this is the most glaring single point failure and the cheaper system to install a duplicate - assuming, of course, that one has dual batteries and dual alternators (which we do have on our ES) :-)) Go for it.
