put the small "hat box" on the front side of your oil cooler and you won't have any more problems--easier than a NACA scoop.

Subject: [LML] Persistent CHT2 Too High (TSIO550E) LIVP

I continue to have Cyl 2 CHT temp problems, limiting my climb parameters. Especially with summer temps. I have not done the small window on the front of the oil cooler.

Has anyone placed NACA scoops along the side of the lower cowling to bring air into the turbos and lower half of the back cylinders?

Tell me all the tricks that people have done to helpd solve the CHT2 problem with these engines.
