Bob,

Ours is the same except for a 2 blade MT prop. I would suggest mounting the battery on the firewall. I am not aware of anyone having a problem with a CG too far forward on a 320. The problem is usually a CG too far aft.

OK,

I have a small tail slowbuild kit, sn:325.  Built per Lancair manual with spring trim

It has:

1.        Extended engine mount.

2.       Small Tail.

3.       3 blade MT Prop.  (about 46 lbs.)

4.       160 lycoming fuel injection (IO-320 A1C with modified front mounted fuel servo Bendix).

5.       Extended fuel tanks

6.       Removable header tank.

Anyone with the same setup?

Any comment as to correct cg. range for this configuration?

Best guess as to best battery location?
