Angier,
Depends... If it is a Hartzell with the 4" extension then the bolts are
probably headed by castle nuts with a roll pin to keep the head nut in position
and the whole assembly is buried in a niche that does not allow a socket to be
used. Usually, one has to use a high quality crow's foot (CF) to
torque these down. High quality means the CF is of sturdy
enough construction so the fingers don't spread or round the head nuts
(check Snap-on).
Or, you can buy Hartzell's special dual headed machine tool steel CF
for $300 (uh, 1996 price).
BTW, use a new o-ring.
