Different brands of the same size tire have inflated dimensions that vary significantly in diameter and probably width too. I compared 5 or 6 brands and models that had different uninflated diameters (like nearly an inch). I was very surprised when the tire with the smallest uninflated diameter became the largest when inflated. The point is to be very careful when changing to a different tire. Measure the inflated dimensions and compare them before you do a retract test. You may save doing some glass work or worse.
