I have a pair of the XE vision lights mounted in the winglets. I believe it is the XV23 model. I elected to mount the transformer in the cabin to avoid any water issues, and ran the lines in the leading edge. So far I have found them to be very reliable and dependable. Perhaps not quite as brite as advertised, but very acceptable. I did have a bit of issue with shaping a leading edge lens. I found a company in southern california that was able to fashion some acceptable lenses. I will try to get to the hangar in the next day or two and find the name of the lens company, as well as forward some photos. Generally I would give the lights a positive review. Good luck! Doug Owen
