    How heavy is the coating?   3 gallons seems to me would be more than 20
pounds of added weight.  
 
 To the rest of the group, what about the coating that is applied to exhaust
systems?  Wouldn't that work for the firewall too?  What about a thin piece of
stainless steel ceramic coated?

[Great question, Ron... I can't answer it right now.  I need to do a weight test under controlled conditions.  I do know that all the volatile components flash off during cure and that dry product weighs less than its uncured mixture.  I'll try to get that info shortly.   <Marv>   ]
