Another set of thoughts on Vne/flutter.. My
experience with flutter with an elevator was a "buzz" that came and went with
the position of the flaps and Not associated with Vne, but when leveling to
maximize cruise, at cruise at 180 to 185 Kts Indicated. (see prior
post).. Had I had ANR Headsets then, the flutter would have gone
unnoticed. Recent years I've only used them at stabilized cruise
configuration.
