Bill (Hanrahan), yes the
injectors are on the low, hot side of the baffling, 'hot' being about
300F. Will check for blue stains today.
I agree about the injector
systems. Look at millions of autos running reliably, and starting
instantly and smoothly!! Why can't we adapt one of those? Just can't seem
to think outside the box.
Meanwhile Don at Airflow
Performance is sending a couple of richer injector jets to try in #2, and was
surprised that a Lycoming O320 wasn't closer to 8 gph. I noted that it
is an ovehaul, not new mfgr. Will try equalizingut 10.3 - 10.5
GPH. .. and $4.60/gal. : )
