I love my 320 so much and the building process that I have decided to build again - this time as a joint project with my son. Got the kit home and realized a problem - when Lancair originally packed up the kit they mistakenly included two sets of wheels and brakes and did not include the nose strut (the boxes are about the same size). This kit was still in the original wood crate that Lancair shipped it in and the original owner has never even broken the seals on the boxes. This thing should have gone to the Lancair museum :-) I called Lancair today to inquire about a new nose strut and found out that ESCO in Australia got out of the business and they cannot get them anymore. Kim is checking for me to see if she can locate one but now I'm nervous. So, I am looking for a serviceable 320/360 strut. New condition would be great but I'll take old and used, as long as it is serviceable such that I can get Lancair to overhaul it. Please contact me off-list at olsen25@comcast.net. Thanks! Greetings LMLers,

Well, I took the plunge and purchased another 320 kit = this week.  I love my 320 so much and the building process that I have = decided to build again – this time as a joint project with my = son.

Got the kit home and realized a problem – when = Lancair originally packed up the kit they mistakenly included two sets of wheels = and brakes and did not include the nose strut (the boxes are about the same = size).  This kit was still in the original wood crate that Lancair shipped it in = and the original owner has never even broken the seals on the boxes.  = This thing should have gone to the Lancair museum J

I called Lancair today to inquire about a new nose = strut and found out that ESCO in Australia got out of the business and they cannot get them anymore.  Kim is = checking for me to see if she can locate one but now I’m = nervous.

So, I am looking for a serviceable = 320/360 strut.  New condition would be great but I’ll take old and = used, as long as it is serviceable such that I can get Lancair to overhaul = it.

Please contact me off-list at olsen25@comcast.net.

Thanks!
