I use one of these on my motorcycle.  It really works well.

Subject: [LML] Legacy Cabin Heating?

We have flown in -20 degrees F @ 15,000’+ with no major discomfort, but it was sunny.  I remember Rich Henning saying they were not happy with the heating situation with their first Legacy.  (Rich, did you come up with a solution?)

Since the engine is producing much less power and heat at higher altitudes a heat muff has its limits.   Here is a sure fire way to solve the problem with individual controls.  http://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-kanetsu-tltec-wind-blocker-electric-vest.html  This will heat your core and believe me, if it will work on a bike at near freezing temps, it will keep you toasty in the cockpit.  I have not used it in the Legacy but I think I will carry it along when it gets cold again.

I’ve heard some people say they don’t get enough heat from their Legacy’s cabin heat engine muff system.
