A few questions for either Jim Frantz or Pete Cavitt:  regarding the
alternate method of forward-hinging the 360 canopy... the factory kit for
forward-hinging the canopy requires a considerable buildup of carbon fiber
along the entire front edge of the canopy where the hinge brackets mount.
Is that same buildup required with the hinges that mount along the
longerons?  And what are the approximate sizes (greatest dimensions) of
that hinge arm from front-to-back and top-to-bottom?  Is 6061-T6 appropriate
for its fabrication or would either of you recommend a different alloy?
