Recently I tried to glue on my door seal with some silicone stuff called lexel. I used it before - it works good for many applications but it does not stick to rubber very well. I should have read the instructions before because I couldn’t get it off the door without damaging the paint. I ended up repainting the inside of the door.

 

Since I heard that the door seal needs to be replaced every now and then I was wondering if there is something that can be used to glue the door seal in place reliably and still can be removed from the door without damaging the paint.
