You might want to add the secondary strut flange bracket that secures the flange to the strut in case the Loctite ever lets go. The original loctite retaining compound applied by Esco (Loctite 601) is really good, but there is no way to verify that it is secure by external visual inspection. Lancair was using a weaker series that did not have nearly the same strength in strut rebuilds -don't know what they use now. The latest bracket design is a two-piece unit that can be installed without disassembling the strut.
The cork chocks are way too cool.
