Instead of the sharp beveled blades (Home Depot) which are likely to nick= wires these are formed so there is a hole with a narrow band in the center= . The band grips the insulation tightly and strips it off without nicking. = Cost was $12.00 each (15 years ago) in two size ranges. Strippers and mil-s= pec replacement plates sometimes come up on Ebay. I'd be interested to know what FAR that DAR was referencing. The pros I kn= ow use mechanical- they're lower cost and can be used in awkward situations= .
