From AOPA smart brief:
The National Transportation Safety Board is calling on the FAA to
immediately ground the Zodiac CH-601XL, a single-engine, light sport aircraft
designed by Zenair Inc. and sold as a kit. The agency says six of the airplanes
have broken up in flight in the past three years, killing 10 people, and
evidence is strong that aerodynamic "flutter" preceded some, if not all, of the
fatal accidents.

This was on Headline News today. Does anyone have any
information to add? What is the rest of the story? Who is
urging the FAA to ground the small
aircraft? |
