I think they were referring to the Zodiac Light Sport. Seems to come apart while airborne. Last I checked, that was a bad thing.

NTSB calls for grounding of Zodiac light sport aircraft
The National Transportation Safety Board is calling on the FAA to immediately ground the Zodiac CH-601XL, a single-engine, light sport aircraft designed by Zenair Inc. and sold as a kit. The agency says six of the airplanes have broken up in flight in the past three years, killing 10 people, and evidence is strong that aerodynamic "flutter" preceded some, if not all, of the fatal accidents.
