A replacement solenoid NAPA ST81, has a note withi it stating it shoulod NOT be used if there's an on-board computer, adn as I have a GRT dual glass panel I opted to add the diodes to both solenoids, although ti seemed to me a better fix wold be to substitute continuous duty solenoids with integral diodes. I'm airworthy, but am going to install an MT prop before I fly... it's due this week. Terrence AKA RedHand L235/320 N211AL
