Notwithstanding my medieval mental state I have a blurred recollection of your incident, which you must have related at Bill’s and Sue’s back in ’05.

My ATD antenna is the standard which came with the unit. I run it through a Coax attached to the instrument combing to the unit. It makes no difference if the antenna is connected at the back of the antenna. The TXPDR post antenna is behind the now defunct battery box position.

On the positive side, if there is traffic around, it responds correctly with distance and altitude diff.

As usual I’ll just fiddle around and see if I can improve or eliminate.
