My Legacy racing stacks adapted to the LIV do not have
enough straight run for a heat muff, so I pick up warm air from directly below
the no. 2 cylinder head. I have a baffle which separates this flow from
any potential exhaust leaks at the exhaust gasket. Not desirable, but the
only way I could get some heat in the cabin. This system uses the
pressure below the engine to drive the air into the cabin, and works well when
the cowl flaps are closed, just like my old 182.
I will include pictures when I publish the document I am
assembling.

Fred,
One of the big cowl
leaks is the duct to Cabin Heat, what did you do there?
