I can't seem to post to the LML anymore (changed email?), but this plane
will likely have some problems that will need pretty significant/major
rework.
1. I have a solid floor in my 360's baggage compartment. That’s because I
have a VERY similar panel to this (dual 430's, Sandel EHSI, etc, that needed
remote mounting). My weight and balance is good, but he's got two
(smallish) batteries in the WAAAAAAY back behind the baggage bulkhead. I
can't imagine that's going to work. I have my batteries behind the seat,
but I also have a heavier engine (counterweighted angle valve 360). All the
solenoids/wiring back there only add to the problem.
2. The "floorboards" in front of the seats. Looks very uncomfortable. I
usually pull my legs back with my knees very bent when flying (unless using
the rudders or brakes). This won't allow that.
3. He doesn't have prop or engine controls in yet. I'll venture part of
that is because he ran into a problem with that very fancy panel. The
problem is that the radio stack extends so low that the cables are likely to
jam directly into the nose gear well. Maybe not, but I'd be concerned.
4. You need more vents, and simple controls, than the grill he has in the
panel. Looks like he was planning rotary knobs/pots to control everything.
I tried that. Been there, done that, ripped it out.
5. With EVERYTHING painted like that, and the very nice interior, and all
the electronics/wiring, I'll bet that plane will weigh well over 1300 lbs.
And maybe even 1400 lbs. Again, been there, done that, started ripping
stuff out...

Subject: [LML] Interesting 360
Just doing my usual check of Ebay and found this. It has a lot of things I
have never seen before in a 360.
Some things worth looking at:
Notice the cowling, and the lack of air inlets.
Everything under the floor in the back, wow.
All of the functions on the stick.
Ebay Item number: 200295574014
