Barry, the picture you have taken is of a sonic nozzle.
Personally, I think sonic nozzles at all four locations, when using a third
intercooler, is a good idea. The sonic nozzles on the cold side will reduce the
pressure rise time slightly on takeoff. This is a problem on an all
electric aircraft as you need a vacuum supply to make the Dukes valve control
the initial rise. The cold side nozzles will also reduce the pressure
loss in the event of a cold side failure such as a skeet tube blowing off.
