I sent the pump back to Weldon in Ohio for inspection. As it turns out, during installation the brushes were inadvertently soaked with Jet A (caused by an unusual set of circumstances with the wings off). After 50 hours of flying the pump started to have some problem. Long and short of it is Weldon treated me like a valued customer. They worked with me to diagnosis the problem and the fix. Weldon in Ohio is now a repair station and I would recommend them if you need a new pump or the repair of your existing pump.
