There is probably more to consider than Hysol
only.
- Fuel tank sealer
- Jeffco epoxy resin (in my case used as tank
sealer)
- Fuel hoses
- Fuel pump diaphragms
- Carbutator gaskets
- Carburator diaphragms (Ellison TBI in my
case)
Some of the above is surely non-issues or easy
fixes, but with Avgas running at $ 11.50/gal and Mogas at $ 5.50/gal ( a pure
giveaway! ), I certainly would be interested in any experienced opinion on the
issue!
Has anyone considered flushing the tanks with a
second sealer, that tolerates ethanol? Does this even exist?
