At 700 hrs had left mag go bad on approach McCall Id. another high flight. Carbon arching was given as cause. At 710hrs the right mag failed on run-up. Nice to do it on the ground for a change. Same cause arching. These where slicks. Do the slick recommended complete replacement of at least major check up at 500hrs.
