Jeff, It was a Lancair IV turboprop. As I saw it upside down with my eyes when it happened. I also drove by the hangar it stored in yesterday and its in there in parts. I believe there were two on board. 2 walked away unhurt. It was a takeoff, emergency, turned around and landed on the same runway going opposite direction. Overran runway, hit soft dirt and flipped over.

I don't think it was a IV and I don't think the pilot walked away.....http://cbs2.com/local/Plane.Crash.Camarillo.2.808336.html

Driving home from work today and a Lancair IV had just went in at the end of our field. It was inverted but it looked in-tact. No idea what happened but It was about 2-3000 feet from the approach end of the runway. Had just cleared the airport perimeter fence. I didn't see a fire but I drove by right when it had happened so I dont know if anyone had gotten out or if it caught fire. It appeared to be in White primer or at least All white paint.
