There is a pretty good Legacy for MSFS 2004.

Once you sign up you can just go to the library and search lancair and it will come up.  Pretty good flight model.  Nothing is going to be perfect in MSFS, I think this model floats way too much, but most low drag aircraft in FS do, because it does not simulate prop drag.  Enjoy.
