Has anybody seen this? It's a nose gear over-center link that does not go
over-center.
If you notice in the attached picture, the three pivot points of the lower
assembly (older unit) are in alignment, resulting in a poor to non-existent
over-center condition. The white (newer unit) scissor link assembly has an
obvious over-center condition by approximately 3/4". The bottom assembly was
removed from an older kit and since then, I've found a second 'non-over-center
link' assembly on another, older kit.
Might be a good idea to take a quick look and see if those three bolts line
up on your IV-P. Could save you a lot of grief.
