First Evolution Kit Delivered

 

Redmond, OR (July 21, 2008) Lancair International is proud to announce that the Evolution team has reached a significant milestone by delivering the first Evolution kit to Andy Cruce of Miramar, Florida.  Mr. Cruce came to Redmond

to participate in our 2 week builder assist program now conducted in our new

six thousand square foot build shop facility.  This new facility was established specifically for our Evolution customers.

Cruce said he and his wife Nancy “started looking at the Evolution when it was introduced last year at Oshkosh.  When we considered the speed, roominess, carrying capacity, BRS chute and docile flight characteristics of the Evolution,

we decided the Evolution is what we need.“

 

Cruce says he’s excited to be working on his kit, and plans to have the airplane ready to fly around the first of the year.

 

Lancair has a full Evolution production schedule booked through February of 2009.  Interest in the aircraft in the weeks leading up to AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 has been very high and the prototype Evolution which flew to Sun ‘n Fun has recently been painted and will be available for demonstration flights at Oshkosh.
