Someone asked if the Legacy is controllable throughout its trim limits and does anyone have experience with that condition.  As a practical matter, this is only an issue at full nose down trim because a normal landing with normal servo adjustments is at or near full nose up.  (If it is not, redo your trim adjustments.)

I have landed my legacy with full nose down trim when the nose up relay failed and foooling around with it got me all the way to full nose down.  It is, of course, absolutely controllable.  In fact, because of the trim tab's servo function, the elevator actually has a bit more up authority with the tab set full nose down.  It requires meaningful back pressure but nothing that anyone who can fly at all would have any trouble handling.  It feels weird so I wouldn't recommend it for a novice Legacy pilot but there is no significant problem with it.

Anyone who wants to see how it feels can easily check it out.  Just go to altitude, trim full nose down and fly slow.
