Here's another approach to setting up the trim controls in a center console
Lancair. I like using two dpdt three position spring center micro switches
recessed in the center console where they are available to either seat. This
appeals to me because it's simple, light, cheap, and darn near fool proof. No
relays required. Little if any chance of a runaway. The pitch moves fore and
aft and the roll moves left and right. They can be operated by feel and are
ergonomically comfortable. I recess them to minimize accidental actuation.
Some people have a need to have everything possible on the stick grips but
some don't. For a couple hours work and about $10 cash outlay it's a nice
simple solution. Works for me.
