I tried Snowline and they are working off the tooling from Lancair and do
not have any drawings either.

Lancair built four for me that didn't fit. They finally bought one more
from Snowline Manufacturing for me that fit perfectly. Clearly, Lancair
doesn't have the dimensions either. Go to Snowline!

Giff,
Mistral is in Florida. Why can't they measure a mount here? There are
several Legacys in various build conditions here in the eastern seaboard.
Lancair won't give them the measurements? Mistral is building a certified
engine. Looks like they could get the measurements from Lancair??

Subject: [LML] Help with Engine Mount
Need to find a Lancair Legacy, ES or IV Engine Mount in Western Europe.
Mistral Engines needs to obtain the mount dimensions for designing the
interface for the Mistral 300/360 engines and the Lancair provided mount for
the Continental.
It would be preferable for a project that is in process that has not
installed the engine mount, but let me know if you are interested in
assisting even if the mount is already installed. Mistral is located in
Geneva, so I anticipate that they would like a project/aircraft that is
relative close to Geneva.
