While the Canadian regulations regarding the registration of experimentals remain a bit more stringent than do their American counterparts, the "major portion" issues are the same on either side of the border. At AirCrafters Builder Assistance Center we are very cognizant of the rules regarding the "major portion" issue, and we work very hard to assure that all our customers will be eligible to register their aircraft as experimentals (e.g., NOT exhibition-category aircraft) and themselves as the repairmen if they so desire. We do our best to provide information about the rules whenever appropriate.
