SNOW HILL, N.C.—Two people were killed Thursday = when a homebuilt=20 airplane crashed in Greene County, authorities said.

Patty McQuillan, spokeswoman for the state Department of Crime = Control and=20 Public Safety, said emergency officials reported that the pilot said he = had=20 icing on the wings. The plane disappeared from radar and lost radio = contact, she=20 said.
