Hamid, You must be a politician. I never said do only what your gut tells you and never get any training. I believe the paragraph before the one you quoted I said... "I only hope I would make the appropriate decision based on my situation and ALL THAT I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT." I never one said "leave it to whatever your gut tells you in the middle of the crisis." Shheeeessh, can a guy just give an opinion without being stomped on? I know of several people who will not contribute ideas just for that reason alone. Your odds are a lot better if you have thought things through in advance and have a plan in place before you ever get in the airplane. Leaving it to whatever your gut tells you in the middle of a crisis is not a good plan of action.
