You haven't heard a whisper and neither have the depositors. The only way
to stay informed is to call the company periodically. I was the 76th
depositor, plunking down the dough in 1997. Position now 34 thanks to drop
outs.

On Friday Jan 21, Mike Schrader, sls mgr, told me the first plane slated
for customer delivery is presently being tested by the FAA and delivery
will be "very soon". Projected production a/o Friday was 6-7 planes in the
first half of this year, down from 15 projected late last year.

The most significant changes and proposals since initial announcements are
King avionics replaced by Apollo, offer of Victor special build engines,
air conditioning as an option, and FADEC single power control and of course
the price increase of a little over 50%. (FADEC "to be certified by year end")

It's been frustrating, but the faithful among us remain excited about the
airplane. I always wanted to build my own but at age 68 was concerned the
building time would cut too deeply into the flying time.
