Correction:

I previously stated that my friend's bearings went out at 400 hours, but
that should have been 170 hours. One blade of his 3-blade prop had end-play
of >1/16".

It cost him $3000 to rebuild the prop!

He called MT in Deutchland and bitched, but the factory was not sympathetic.

OTOH, the prop works well, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Plan on paying $7000 up front plus $1000 per year for maintenence.
