A dump valve with a third line venting to the tank will solve this...
I just installed mine...

I had the same problem last week. Byron Eskesen figured out that bleeding a small amount (very small) of fluid from the system reduced the pressure enough to close the switch on the high side and then the pump would run.

Hmm.  I hope I can make it to Sun N Fun!  I went out for a short hop last night, and my gear didn't come up.  Back on the ground, I recognized that the pump won't run in either direction.  With the dump valve open, it should run continuously, but it doesn't. 
I don't think this will be a big problem, but I sure don't have much time over the next week to figure this out.  I'm posting this with hopes someone on the list can help point me in the right direction, and save me lots of time troubleshooting.  I suppose the problem must be in the switch, power supply, or continuity through either of my two circuit breakers.  Please respond directly to my email address.
