If I made any false assumptions about my understanding of your post, please accept my apology. At the same time, please don't assume I don't check my oil pressure and airspeed,a mong other things, as part of my scan. I try to sneak in as many peeks as I can... My point was more that a minor problem might lead to an abort and cause a bigger problem. I was trying to illustrate it colorfully. Sometimes the best decision is to go. Sometimes, not.
