Re: ground tug for a IVP
For the price of a basic new tug you could
pick up a nearly new lawn tractor/riding mower with about 20 HP and
fabricate a towbar. If you have any grass around your hangar it could mow
the lawn as well as tow the plane. Just a thought. I've also seen
golf carts used for tugs. (Then there's the tug I saw at the Reno Air
Races with a supercharged Chevy 350; but that's probably overkill
:)
