The problem some friends are experiencing, and I expect the same, is that the Inner Gear door opens up in flight at high airspeeds. We heard someone out there re-designed the bracket that the Hyd. Actuator attaches to and it pulls the gear closed. He re-designed the arm on the bracket in such a way that it is able to keep the door closed because he was able to get greater pulling strength than the original lancair design. Anyone know of this?
