Any turns above 20-25 degrees would cause the WAAS to drop out, during cruise flight, the WAAS would occasionally drop for a minute or two. Sometimes the GPS signal would drop out completely. I tried moving the antenna from the wingtip to the glareshield with mixed results. Finally did what I should have done to begin with, checked the antenna to make sure it is the correct one for my installation,.... it wasn't. The FreeFlight 1101 GPS requires a 40 dB gain GPS antenna, I had 26.5 dB gain which is much more common. Replaced the antenna and my troubles seem to have gone away. My old antenna, Comant model # CI 420-220 is now for sale on EBAY, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling&viewitem=&item=190193117620&_trksid=p3907.m32 Micah Froese Lancair Legacy N171MF
