RDD says to epoxy them just aft of the cowling/fuselage seam and centered in line with the stacks. Mine are being laid-up now and will ship to me next week. I'll bond them in place on some cold and snowy January night - and then perhaps take off for sunnier climes.

Subject: RE: [LML] VGs for cooling improvement
Hi all,
Either I missed a post or my mail system didn´t get it - were there any mails including pictures of such VGs ?
Can you please send a copy again ?
BTW - are there any pictures / descriptions how to produce and mount VGs on wings and stabs ?
Any hints are much appreciated.

Betreff: [LML] VGs for cooling improvement
Did my first solo flight today. I was truing about 245 kts at 9,000 ft.
Nice feeling . What did you find out from Dave about the VGs?
D. Brunner
Douglas,
Found out:
1.) No quantity of VGs would give me 245 TAS at 9k. You must drive
approach control nutso!
2.) Dave will ship them next week, along with a drawing for placement in
the tunnel.
