The guy in the hangar next to me had the same bearing problem with his
3-bladed MT prop on his L-235/290. I think he got 400 hours out of his
before the bearings went. Had to send his prop back to Germany, too.

On a related topic: He and I have discovered that the MT prop controller
box sends lots of noise back down the 14V buss when the prop pitch is
changing causing false "hits" on his Stormscope. An inline filter on the
power lead to to the controller has solved the problem.
