I also can report that my LNC2 hydraulic gear system functions without
problems. I do not see the pressure rise that people have described in both
the up and down circuits at the same time. On a hot day, I will see the
pressure rise in the down circuit when the plane is sitting in the sun with
the gear down. I do not, however, see the high-side pressure go up under
those conditions.
I have a little over 800 hours on the plane now. During that time, I have
had to rebuild one door cylinder, and two main cylinders.
My pump usually chirps only once on a long flight after the fluid has
cooled.
I installed a Swagelok dump valve when I built the system. This is the valve
we talked about on the LML in the past. Otherwise, the rest of the system is
stock.
