It is mounted right in the = middle of radios, clock, wiring controlling FADEC, and wiring for many = other things. As different equipment and avionics are turned on, the = compass swings as much as 45 to 90 degrees. I ended up mounting an = external pegasus to the far left face of the panel. It is out of the = way and does a great job. The two compasses disagree by huge amounts in = flight. =20 Bottom line is be aware that all those little electrons running through = any coiled wire for avionics and other items makes a magnetic field = which your panel mount compass might not like.
