On the subject of waivers, the value thereof depends
partly on the States of jurisdiction. Some States do not allow one to waive
certain rights. More pertinent, however is the notion that one can only waive
ones own rights. Ex: If Sam and his wife Sue die in the plane all their kiddies
can sue. Whatever Sam or even Sue signed is for naught. In this case it matters
not what State laws are applicable.
