Re: [LML] Flap vs Aileron Edge in Level Cruise (LIVP)...No
Those numbers (and picture) were taken at 15,000' Alt, OAT ~47*F, 100*F LOP, 35" MAP, 2500 RPM.  ~238 KTAS.

Would others be showing 185-188 KIAS or up in the mid-190's?

Jeff -- Don't have the expertise to comment on your flight control questions but it would be interesting to know at what altitude and what ambient temperature you recorded the IAS speeds you referenced. My IVP will not indicate much above 185 IAS in summer at FL 220-250 and it will not run smoothly up there at 100 LOP.  FYI, in the warmer months at 185  indicated I usually do about 270TAS at FL230 at 60 degrees LOP and burn 16 -- 16.5 gph.  In winter, the speed and fuel consumption numbers go up a bit.

I notice the aileron in neutral level position leaves a bit of exposed flap edge (that is, they're not perfectly flush), suggesting the flaps don't retract fully.  Needs to be studied.  In level cruise, I indicate 189-192 KIAS at 100*F LOP.  I hear faster numbers in other LIVP planes.
