Depends on the airplane. Legacy has pretty good molds that doesn't need too much fill. A lot is ready to prime. Use gloves and or squeegee and put first coat of primer on. This makes it much easier to fill pinholes. Roller will have a tendancy to roll over pinhole, then when you sand the pinhole shows up. After squeegeeing 1st coat of primer rol a couple more on, then sand. THis first sanding will tell you a lot about any highs and lows you overlooked. Used a 3M guide coat that is a powder. Very easy to apply, stays puts during wet sanding, and really helps show low spots. Micah

Anybody have input on basic finishing? No primer or paint advice. Looking for good process for fill and fairing. A friend of mine suggested not to do any weave fill at all and too first prime with roller. Then go over and fill what is needed. That is backwards to the norm from what I understand.
My plan was to micro fill with a squeegee sand then brush or roll on primer, sand Then fill any left over, sand then final primer.
