I received my prop with a cardboard box surrounding the hub and packed with newspaper. The blades were also surrounded by newspaper. The prop arrived in good shape.
The engine shop next door to me received a prop totally enclosed in a wooden prop shipping crate with a fork lift hole punched through the crate. There prop had been destroyed.

Does anyone near Los Angeles or even anywhere on the West Coast have a shipping box for the Hartzell 68 inch 2 blade propeller that you are willing to part with?
